Q: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for a custom production run?
A: Our minimum order quantities vary based on the type of custom project you are looking to produce.
For a standard custom production run project of a replica models in our existing product line the MOQ is 504 units. We have some cases where the MOQ can be reduced to 252 units, but that would have to be further discussed.
For an all new custom tooled project there is an MOQ of 3,000 units.
For a custom building block project there is an MOQ of 3,000 units when utilizing standard block colors or 5,000 units when utilizing custom block colors.
For an inventory decal project there is an MOQ of 48 units.
We cannot customize individual units.
Q: What is the lead time for a custom production run?
A: Our lead times vary based on the type of custom project you are looking to produce.
For a standard custom production run project of a replica models in our existing product line the lead time is about six months.
For an all new custom tooled project the lead time is about ten to twelve months.
For a custom building block project the lead time is about six months.
For an inventory decal project the lead time is about eight to ten weeks.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Pricing will vary based on the type of custom project you are looking to produce.
For a diecast metal replica custom production run project the price is dependent on the scale, model, model features and functions, order quantity, decoration, packaging, etc.
For an all new custom tooled project the price is dependent on the scale, model, model features and functions, order quantity, decoration, packaging, etc., along with the tooling investment to develop the molds to create the replica.
For a custom building block project the price is dependent on the total number of building block pieces, order quantity, decoration, packaging, etc.
For an inventory decal project the price is based on the order quantity and decoration.
