Our newest 1/25 scale replica is the International 'S' Series Truck w/ 3-Axle Gooseneck Lowboy Trailer. This is truly the most impressive replica truck First Gear has developed to date! Our all new cab and chassis unit is complemented by a complete re-do and upgrade of the axle configuration on our 1/25 scale folding gooseneck trailer. The authentically detailed cab includes a flat windshield, roof mounted air horns, recessed marker lights, hood latch detail, and right & left adjustable side mirrors. Loaded with chrome, this truck features chrome-plated door and grab handles, license plate, windshield wipers, trumpet-style air horns, grille, exhaust stack, fuel tank cap, window cranks, front tow hooks, and more! The cab doors open to a fully and accurately appointed interior with dashboard, full-color gauges, pull knobs, engine cover, floor pedals, shifter, and a functioning steering column that actually operates the front wheels!
Under the forward tilt, opening hood you'll find just about everything except the dust and oil stains from countless road miles…including the functioning steering gearbox and links that actually steer the front wheels, radiator and fan, upper & lower hoses, cowl tray, hood vent, turbo detail and blow-off valve, air filter, oil filter, water pump & hose, valve cover, belts, and exhaust manifold.
The re-do of the 1/25 scale Tri-Axle Folding Gooseneck Trailer gives this remarkable heavy equipment hauler a new and impressive look, especially when decked out with the IH TD-25 or 175 crawler, or the A-C HD-21 crawler. This authentic trailer with working gooseneck still features air brake lines and detail, air tank, lash rings, swing-out side extensions with 2 "planks" for wide loads, rear-mounted “wide load” banner board, air and electrical lines that can be connected from the cab to the trailer, removable kingpin, travel lock, and right & left ramps. The gooseneck easily slides up the tail roller and approach ramps onto the fifth wheel. Crank the cable winch to allow enough "cable" to hook to the gooseneck.
The new 4-in-1 bucket featured on our latest addition to the Construction Pioneers product line, a 1/25 scale International Harvester 175 crawler loader with 4-in-1 bucket and multi-shank ripper attachment is impressive. The IH 175 crawler itself was covered in detail in our July 2006 issue of Tread Marks, at that time featuring a demo bucket, sweep ROPS, and winch. The new bucket is constructed of sturdy diecast metal and functions much like the real thing including dozing, shoveling, and lifting. The authentic movement of the boom arms and cylinders allows for display in various poses. The standard ROPS unit includes a metal screen behind the operator seat. A diecast metal 3-shank ripper unit completes the equipment accessories. This impressive replica is also available in our popular "Forestry" series with Fire Red paint, metal winch, sweep ROPS with mesh screens, and special accessories including a fire rake, shovel, axe, and hard hat.
We are now introducing our all new 2007 "Tis the Season" holiday edition truck with figures.
This is the second in a series of our 1/34th scale, ultra realistic, holiday sets. Available with either Mack or International cabs, these vintage dump trucks are loaded with the town holiday decorations and topped off with the intrepid local Streets & Recreation department workers, braving the cold to unravel the tangled lights and sort out the giant candy canes!
The Mack B-61 and International KB-10 cab and chassis feature a dump bed with swinging rear door, chrome plated horns and mirrors, yellow warning lights and mud flaps. The two city workers are made of hand-poured metal and finished by hand in realistic matte paint with shading to bring out their intricate facial expressions and clothing details. The entire scene is finished off with a dusting of snow and mud on the vehicles and, of course, the holiday decorations that include, in addition to the lights and canes, a box of ornaments and lights, a 50-gallon drum to hold candy canes, a large "toy" soldier, and two wreathes, to make the mood just right. |
